One Week Down... Family Time.

I just want to say that this week has been more therapeutic than any other week of my life. I truly have been learning so much…. so much about myself, my family, my Massachusetts.
We have been taking pictures, but not enough – this will not be enough.

Let me tell you about my cousins:

Family Run Down:
Dad: Grew up in outside of Boston.

Three Sisters: (aunts – Sue (2 Kids), Kathy (4 kids) and Mary (5 cats))

We spent A LOT of time watching my cousins play their various school/sport games. It was fun!
(Below) This was Shannon (10) playing softball – in this game each batter walked when sh pitched. :(
In the next game… she saved the game in the bottom of the last inning with one out to win. She’s awesome. :)

(Below) This is my favorite witty little spitfire cousin Erin (9). You never know what is going to come out of her mouth. I have more fun talking to her than I do with most of my friends back in college. She makes me laugh...a lot. This is at her soccer game it was FRIGID and East Coast rain storms sink into your bones, but it was worth it – they won!

(Below) This is them at the worst spring concert I have ever seen... my aunt and uncle and I could not stop laughing. Somewhere during an awful rendition of “When the Saint Go Marching In” (played by the trombone section) – I thought: “Life does not get any better than this”… and my smile was pure and real.

(Below) My Aunt Kathy recently moved into what Steph calls “The Doll House”. It is BRIGHT LILAC PURPLE. (The picture does not do it justice.) I mean honest to goodness, it’s the most amazing house I have ever seen, complete with a tennis court and pool.

(Below) This is the dog, Sammi and Dana (8). Both of them love attention and love getting their picture taken. Both of them are most likely the cutest pair I have ever seen. I can't get enough.

(Below) This is Laney (16). She is amazing. She is good at Rugby and all the other sports I can think of of. She is good at taking care of other people. She is good at eating rice pilaf. She loves Law and Order. She was absolutely the most beautiful little blonde girls you ever did see. She is a tom-boy now, but I got to see her prom dress options for next week's prom. I can not describe how much it broke my heart to leave her. I can not tell you how much it broke my heart to think of all the lost time. As soon as she gets out of school she is meeting me at the coast. We have memories together as little children, when life was a little easier. Sometimes it's so easy to fall in love with someone.
(Below) This is my little stud of a cousin Greg (15) at his (very violent) Lacrosse game. He thinks he is pretty cool with his long bangs. He used to be just a little guy... he will always be little Gregy to me.
(Below) This is us girls on the bed... Amanda is my sister's age and they are sooo much alike. Both 18 and think they know everything about life. Both beautiful and both going to college in the fall. Prayer, lots of prayer.
